This week, students from the new, 28th generation, started their IMB journey with Bootcamp, non-obligatory preparatory courses.
Bootcamp is an intensive, two weeks long preparation for students with a non-economic background to get familiar with basic concepts, as well as for students with an economic background to refresh their undergrad knowledge. It covers the basics of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Finance, and Statistics. Bootcamp serves as a foundation for the courses of the IMB programme and has traditionally been an effective introduction to the studies.
As IMB strictly follows the current regulations and guidelines regarding the Coronavirus outbreak, Bootcamp is being held online, to be inclusive for all students, especially international ones, of whom some are still in the mandatory isolation. Nevertheless, Bootcamp remained very interactive and hands-on, thanks to the Bootcamp facilitator Assistant Professor Denis Marinšek.
