This week, the IMB Alumni organised an exclusive talk with Mr Izet Ždralović, the co-founder of Microblink and Photomath.
Mr Ždralović emphasized that we should try to shift our focus from mere outcomes to the journey. Students were advised to savour their college days, recognizing them as a unique and invaluable period. The importance of finding a niche to positively impact the world was highlighted, along with the significance of adaptability and pivoting in the entrepreneurial realm.
The session delved into the substantial effort, energy, and sacrifice required for entrepreneurial success. Mr Ždralović shared insights into the unexpected triumph of Photomath after its 2015 launch, recounting the seven-year journey that ultimately led to an offer from Google.
In his own words, “It was never about valuations; it was about solving the problem and being very relevant in what we do.” – Izet Ždralović
A sincere thank you to Mr Izet Ždralović for generously sharing his time and insights. We also extend our gratitude to Ada Gušin Habuš for skillfully facilitating the session, seamlessly connecting the audience with Ždralović’s entrepreneurial journey and of course to the IMB Alumni for organising the event.
