Darko Tisaj lecture on the course Financial Management

On Wednesday, 30 March 2022, Darko Tisaj, an IMB alumni, visited the IMB premises to give a lecture on the course Financial Management. Mr Tisaj worked in insurance and banking before he decided to open his private company, which specialises in advising on mergers and acquisitions, financial restructuring of firms, and buying or selling businesses.While presenting the procedure, an advisory company has to follow when leading the process of selling a company, he pointed out that to do this work well, you have to not only have extensive knowledge on financial theory, but also excellent negotiation skills and a sense for dealing with managing emotions of everyone involved. Only with the combination of all three can you be really successful.
