IMB students participated at the Business Conference Portorož 2010

Under the mentorship of Professor Janez Prašnikar, PhD. and colleagues, IMB students had prepared a research on the firm's tangible and intangible assets that was presented at the Business Conference Portorož.

The conference was held on the 18th and 19th of November 2010 at the Grand Hotel Bernardin. Key note speaker was Richard Baldwin from Graduate Institute Geneva and CEPR, there were also interesting speeches given by Marcus Schoegel (University of St. Gallen), Joachim Scheide (Kiel Institute for World Economy, Germany), Velimir Bole (Economic Institute of the Law School, Ljubljana), Hubert Strauss (European Investment Bank), Tsutomu Miyagawa (Faculty of Economics, Gakushuin University), Dragan Mikerević (Faculty of Economics Banja Luka), and Milan Lakićević, (Faculty of Economics Podgorica).

There was also a round table with successful Slovene Business people and experts such as Enzo Smrekar (Droga Kolinska), Aleš Musar (S. T. Hammer), Branko Žibret (A.T. Kearney), Marko Simoneti (Faculty of Law, Ljubljana), Tatjana Fink (Trimo), Stojan Petrič (Kolektor), Samo Roš (Lek), Andrej Plos (Nova KBM), and Jože Mermal (BTC). The round table was led by Peter Frankl, Editor-in-Chief of Business Daily Finance.

Relaxation was also provided with some fine art, performed by opera diva Ilva Mula and the concert of versatile Vasko Atanasovski titled Visions Ensemble. Guests mingled and had a good time on Gala dinner and Cocktail Party.
