Building Leadership Capacity at the FELU MBA programme
First module of the FELU MBA programme is almost finished. The conclusion of the module was a course on Building Leadership Capacity, conducted by Justin Featherstone. He shared his valuable knowledge and experiences from his life and his career that is a bit unusual for some. Nevertheless he left a big mark and impressed the participants with his personal and high motivated approach.
Justin is a leadership consultant and expedition leader. He has worked with a variety of Public Sector and commercial organizations both in the UK and overseas and specializes in developing values-based leadership and organizational culture. He also is an occasional lecturer at the University of Exeter Business School. A former Major in the The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment, he deployed on various operations over his eighteen years’ service, including commanding a Company in Southern Iraq in 2004. His last posting was as the principal leadership Staff Officer at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

»I wanted to thank you for giving me this opportunity to have the privilege of working with you and on what is an exciting, challenging and world-class MBA programme; I have been bowled over and I am not that given to using superlatives unnecessarily. The class were simply incredible and demonstrated a level of open-ness, insight and a will to deep-explore even when challenging that was a joy. I cannot remember the last time I worked with a group with this level of intellectual rigour and desire to investigate thinking in such a reflective way. Their forbearance with my tendency to speak very quickly when excited was greatly appreciated as was their enthusiasm, dynamism and engagement.«
