60. years of FELU

This year the Faculty of Economics at University of Ljubljana is marked by its 60th anniversary. Since 1946 many important events, turning points, and dates have marked its development. In recent years in particular the Faculty experienced the most far-reaching changes:not only was the new Bologna system implemented but the Faculty's program has also been modified with the aim of adapting to the quality standards achieved by the best international business schools. After 6o years of operation, the Ljubljana’s Faculty of Economics is not only the leading institution in economics and business education in Slovenia, but is also recognized as a high quality school in the broader international educational environment, which was just recently confirmed by receiving the EQUIS accreditation award. The main celebration to mark its 60th anniversary and the EQUIS accreditation receival was held in the Union Hall of the Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana. Along the main celebration the Faculty organised also several other events.
