Olga Radzyner Award

A young economist of the FELU, Dr. Zajc Kejžar Katja, an assistant of the Department of International Economics, received the Olga Radzyner award. The award bestowed by the National Bank of Austria for excellent monetary and financial research in the field of European economic integration is to be bestowed only to young economists from Central, Southeastern and Eastern Europe. Dr. Zajc Kejžar Katja received the award for a doctoral thesis titled »Effects of foreign direct investment on industry structure: a host-country perspective«. Her mentor was Prof. Dr. Andrej Kumar (FELU) and Prof. Dr. Massima Motte (European University Institute, Firence).
