4th Student Business Conference
In February, the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana organized already its 4th Student Business Conference which was opened for foreign students already for the 2nd time. The conference is annually organized with a view to bridging the gap between the faculties and the business practice and at the same time is the answer to the ever-pertinent question: "What can we do together?"
The originality and practical relevance of the students' work, indicative of the high quality of professional expertise students acquire at the Faculty of Economics, other business schools and schools of economics throughout Slovenia, are the main criteria of the conference and for the selection of papers as well. The contributions are the fruits of students' undergraduate, master's and doctoral theses and dissertations, business plans and projects. Many of the questions raised and suggestions offered in the research papers point to the practical solutions in everyday business practice. Participants include not only students from the Faculty of Economics, but also students from other Slovenian faculties. Representatives from abroad took part again this year – a fact that demonstrates The Faculty of Economics' openness to the international exchange of student ideas and experience.
