Lecture by Lučka Kajfež Bogataj: Climate Change – Time of Choice: Mitigating, Adapting or Suffering?
Lučka Kajfež Bogataj, PhD, full professor at Biotehnical faculty and one of the winners of Nobel prize for peace, held a lecture at the FELU entitled Climate Change – Time of Choice: Mitigating, Adapting or Suffering?.
According to scientists the last published report of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has underestimated scope of climate change.
Emphasizing the socially responsible behaviour is a global trend, which is also current in education sphere. That is the reason the FELU has taken over initiative of the company Si.mobil, Re.misli. It functions in direction of introducing environment-friendly measures, as well as motivating and informing those related to the faculty: employees, students and visitors.
