ICPE Round Table

19.02.2010No Comments,

International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) is proud to present a continuum of series of Round Table Discussions with a Round Table entitled “Transparency, Accountability and Business Ethics” moderated by Mr Mitja Meršol.

Discussion with prominent experts from governmental, business and academic fields will take place on Thursday, 25 February 2010 at 6.00 p.m., at the ICPE Building, Dunajska 104, Ljubljana.

In the globalized world the principles of integrity, transparency and business ethics present the fundamental values in professional as well as social relations. Yet despite the central role of transparency and business ethics in support of economic development, welfare and trade, the implementation and respect of these principles is still not fully guaranteed. Which measures should be taken in order to ensure transparent functioning? What is the role of national and international regulatory agencies?

Answers to these and other questions will be given in the upcoming debate with Dr Bojan Dobovšek, a member of Commission for the Prevention of Corruption as representative of Judiciary branch of power and representative of Slovenia in GRECO, Mr Janez Živko, MBA, a member of management board at Petrol d.d., Ljubljana, Mr David S. Vaillancourt, Senior Consultant at A. T. Kearney, and other distinguished guests.

The debate will be held in English.

The event is free of charge!
