On Wednesday the 6th of April, within the subject Tourism and EU at EMTM (European Master of Tourism Management) programme, we hosted Klaus Ehrlich, independent consultant and co-founder of RAAR (Andalusian Rural Tourism entrepreneur organisation). Klaus Ehrlich is highly involved in forming the tourism policy at the EU level. He is member of TSG-Tourism Sustainability Group and Advisory Group Rural Development and member of working groups on European Tourism Quality label, Sustainability Indicators for tourism destinations, EU Charter for Sustainable Tourism, and EMAS reference documents for the tourism sector.

Based on his extensive knowledge and international experience in the field of tourism he introduced the students with the tourism organization at EU level and major documents important for the tourism development. Since he is a member and co-creator of all of the important tourism documents at EU level he was also able to give the students and insight in the informal process of creation of the EU tourism policy.

Students were very pleased with Klaus Ehrlich lecture, so in the name of students, EMTM programme and FELU we kindly thanks Klaus for his time and lecture.
