Prof. Tanja Mihalič has at the academy ITHAS 2011 (International Tourism and Hospitality Academy at Sea), organized by four European universities, received an award for the academic excellence for work with students on the project physical planning in tourism. 16 students teams from four European schools presented projects of physical planning for tourism and discussed about the cases Mykonos, Munich, Finland and Trogir. They have tested their knowledge on the physical planning with experts on the case of tourist destinations; Albanian Skodre and Duresa, Montenegro, Dubrovnik and Cetinje.
