ProQuest Central: Webinar

ProQuest Central is the largest aggregated full-text database in the market today with more than 19,000 titles – covering more than 160 subjects like business and economics, health and medicine, social sciences, technology, news and world affairs and more. ProQuest Central provides access to over 800 full-text international newspapers and over 56,000 full-text dissertations in addition to thousands of scholarly journals and market reports.

Join an online session with one of the ProQuest Central trainers to get an introductory overview of the platform and databases or refresh your awareness with an update. This course covers content, functions, and features of, as well as tips for using ProQuest Central and ProQuest Dissertations & Theses A&I on the new ProQuest platform. They will also try to answer any questions and show you how to access support, including tutorials, help pages and documentation. The session is scheduled for 60 minutes to cover:

  • Content review
  • Basic and advanced search functions; browse function
  • View and output options
  • Search and publication alerts – email and RSS
  • My Research
