Glimpses from the celebration of Chinese New Year at Confucius Institute Ljubljana
Another year has passed and Confucius Institute in Ljubljana organized the celebration of Chinese New Year for all students of Chinese language and culture, representatives of the Faculty of Economics and lovers of China in general. The celebration took place on Monday, February 11th at 12am in the Confucius Institute of Ljubljana.
The celebration was marked by a rich cultural programme, followed by a traditional Chinese New Year feast. Guests learned more about the importance, history and celebration of this long-standing tradition. Chinese teachers, Chen Lingshan, Chixu Daiwei, Ding Zhonghui and Yao Cheng who teach courses in Chinese language and culture, have shown some traditional Chinese games and sang Chinese songs.
