Our new library – the view of the architect

03.10.2013No Comments,

Last year the Central Economics Library was thoroughly renovated and refurbished, so you can enjoy its better functionality and new looks now. The architectural solutions and plans have attracted very positive criticism of professionals and library users, so the project ranks among the most excellent ones in the recent year.

Now you have the possibility to join the architect and hear his part of the story how the ideas were formed into a project and what his ambitions with the library were. There will also be the opportunity to discuss and / or even contradict with the author!

Join us on a library tour guided by the architect Martin Lovrečić on Sunday, October 6th, at 1. pm in the library!

The event is a part of the Odprte hiše programme (Open Houses Worldwide is an international initiative), a movement promoting the quality of life and the importance of our living space, aiming at modern architecture, innovative solutions, adaptability to environmental conditions and user needs, environmental friendliness, and the like.

This year there are some 100 new buildings and architectural solutions to be seen and visited in the company of their authors and architects in the frame of the project in Slovenia, and you may see the complete programme here.
