Visit of Shanghai’s Vice Mayor
On September 22, 2014, Shanghai executive vice mayor Tu Guangshao visited the Faculty of Economics and the Confucius Institute in Ljubljana to acknowledge the 10th anniversary of Confucius institutes. The Shanghai vice mayor and his associates met with the FELU management led by Dean Metka Tekavčič. The visitors were also given a reception by the Minister of Education, Dr. Stanka Setnikar Cankar, and a vice-rector of the Ljubljana University, Professor Maja Makovec Brenčič. Mr. Tu Guangshao inaugurated the most recent fourth Confucius classroom in Slovenia held at the University of Primorska lead by professor Dragan Marušič.
