QSI International School of Ljubljana at Confucius Institute
On Thursday 22nd of January, students from International school of Ljubljana visited Confucius Institute. Students between age of 12 and 14 were welcomed by teachers of Chinese language, who also teched them technique of writing characters with brush – calligraphy.
In the second part of our gathering, students learned basic things about tea ceremony, then they rolled up their sleeves and started to make Chinese dumplings, as the Sloevenian saying goes: »No work no meal«. And that the time during cooking quickly passed, each one of them painted and created real traditional Beijing mask.
In the end students tasted dumplings they made and spend some time with Chinese teachers.
