The 3rd consecutive event at the end of extracurricular activities Getting to know Chinese culture and language: China through kids eyes, was held at the promenade on Gornji trg on Thursday, May 28 2015. The event was prepared by students from primary school Koseze, primary school Trnovo, primary school Savsko naselje and primary school Vižmarje Brod with the guidance from Slovenian sinologists and Chinese teachers. Art exhibition of students from primary school Koseze and primary school Trnovo attracted many views and took all visitors in the world of Chinese myths and legends, rich Chinese history and culture. Once again all the participants impressed with singing, music, dancing, presentations and games. The program was enriched by the performance of taijiquan master, Mr. Wu Haifang.
We are really proud of kids, who study Chinese with great enthusiasm and work on creative workshops related to Chinese culture. We are all inspired by famous proverb when we teach and study: “The flowers of all tomorrows are in the seeds of today.” Weaving intercultural ties slowly but steadily are creating a colorful network of knowledge, experiences and interrelations that converge and connect Slovenian and Chinese culture. And this also promotes intercultural dialogue.
The coexistence of cultures enriches and brings people closer together.
