Day of Chinese Culture in Piran
On Saturday, September 26, 2015 we celebrated Chinese day, which was organized by CC Koper with cooperation of CI Ljubljana. The event was fulfilled with many workshops.
We were honed by the presence of the ambassador of People’s Republic of China, H.E. Mr. YE Hao, mayor of Piran, Mr. Peter Bossman, rector of University of Primorska, prof. dr. Dragan Marušič, director of CI Ljubljana, Mrs. Danijela Voljč, director of CC Koper, Mrs. Neva Čebron.
Event was enriched by the performances and workshops like calligraphy, painting, lantern making. Highlight of the event was making the Chinese wall. The kids were able to make a wall from around 500 boxes and their art crafts.
Event was closed by lantern dropping. During the time of first full Autumn moon this means an expression of good wishes for the future.
