Opening of a statue of Confucius
On Friday, May 27 2016 we had an opening of the statue of Confucius. We were given this statue as a gift from Chinese artists that came to visit us during the month May, month of Chinese culture.
On the event we were honoured by the speeches from the dead of the Faculty of Economics, red. prof. dr. Metka Tekavčič, ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Ye Hao and director of Confucius Institute Ljubljana, MSc Danijela Voljč. Leadership of the faculty, artists and others also came to the opening of the statue.
