The programmes of the School of Economics and Business ranked higher on the international ranking Eduniversal in 2021

The School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, can boast higher rankings of its programmes on the international Eduniversal scale in 2021. The programme of the SEB LU, Bank and Financial Management, has, for the third year in a row, ranked first on the Eduniversal ranking scale in Eastern Europe in the group of programmes in this field, which is another important achievement of this programme. On the global scale, the programme Sport management has ranked high as it was fifth in its expert group, while the programme Tourism has ranked ninth.

The Eduniversal international ranking features 4,000 of the world’s top business schools from 154 countries. The Eduniversal ranking scale includes programmes that stand out because of their influence, contribution to policy-making, innovative results as well as creative approach, and at the same time serve as an inspiration to others. The Eduniversal international ranking scale ranks business school programmes according to rigorous criteria that take into account the quality of a programme, its relevance and outcomes as well as its international reputation, related to its geographical area.

For the third year in a row, the Bank and Financial Management programme has ranked first in the Business Finance category in Eastern Europe. In the second place in their groups in Eastern Europe, we can find the Marketing, Economics and Public Sector and Environmental Economics (JMPSE) programmes. In the third place in their groups are the programmes Accounting and Auditing as well as Management and Business Informatics. The MBA Ljubljana programme, which celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2021, has also retained third place in the region.

Sport Management has ranked fifth on the global scale for the second year in a row. It provides students with the most up-to-date concepts in strategic management in sports, management of sports events, management of sports facilities, marketing in sports, financing of sports organisations, and human resource management in sports organisations. The Tourism programme has ranked ninth on the global scale and has also obtained the UNWTO.TedQual international accreditation. In addition to the above, the programmes on the global scale include the following: Joint Program EMTM – European Master in Tourism Management (11th place), Money and Finance (16th place), Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Sciences (17th place), Management and Economics in Health Care (20th place), Supply Chain and Logistics (28th place), and Entrepreneurship (32nd place).

At the Eduniversal World Convention, held at the end of 2020, the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana was declared the third best school in Eastern Europe.
