Saturdays hours for children
The Confucius Institute Ljubljana offers Chinese language classes for younger learners based on their age and the amount of language they may already have on Saturday morning. This course is designed both as a review for children who have previously attended the CI children’s class, and children who are new to the Chinese language.
The children learn Chinese through games, activities, and songs. Students learn simple words, phrases and sentences. Teachers take the advantage of well-prepared presentations and videos to show them how China was in the past and how it is now. The children are aged between 7 to 11, so they can interact and share together. Courses are enriched by the creative workshops such as Chinese traditional painting and paper cutting. Children enjoy time with both a Chinese teacher and a local teacher. We hope even more children will join us next time.
