Opening of Summer school in Shanghai 2014 of Confucius Institute at University of Ljubljana
On July 14th 2014 an opening ceremony for the Slovenian students from Confucius Institute Ljubljana was held at the University of Shanghai (SUIBE). The opening speech was given by Mr. Zhang Xiaosong, director of the University of Shanghai, SUIBE (Shanghai university of bussines and international economics). Grand opening was also attended by the project manager Confucius Institute Ljubljana Ms. Darja Saksida Bogataj, director of University of Shanghai (SUIBE) Miss Xu Dongfeng, professor Ye Rong deputy director of the Confucius Institute and others.
Summer School in Shanghai runs for the fifth year and it’s organizers are University of Shanghai (SUIBE) and foreign Confucius institutes in Shanghai.
A record number of students attended this year’s summer school. As part of the summer school, students will attend the 30 day course of Chinese language and getting to know the rich Chinese culture.
Director of University of Shanghai (SUIBE) Mr. Zhang Xiaosong expresed his gratitute to all the teachers and the organizer Confucius Institute Ljubljana for once again the successfully organized summer school and he wished all the participants a successful summer.
