Seniors festival
On Tuesday, 21st of October 2014, we celebrated the Chongyang festival at the retirement home Danica Vogrinec in Maribor. A large number of seniors attended celebration and they showed a lot of interest to the programe that was prepared by Confucius institute Ljubljana in cooperation with Confucius classroom Maribor. We have listened to the sounds of Chinese flute »Hulusi«, flute made of bamboo, folowed by presentation of Chinese martial art »Taiji« and a recital in Slovene and Chinese language of two songs »Zemlji« and »Prošnja«, songs from collection Tone Pavček. Seniors also enriched the celebration with their dance to the sounds of Slovenian music. In the end we prepared the presentation of traditional Chinese tea ceremony with tea tasting and catering.
