We invite you to join us at the lecture of the world-known sinologist, theoretician and researcher of Chinese philosophy prof. Roger T. Ames (安樂哲) from the Centre for Chinese Studies at the University of Hawaii in Manoi.

Professor Ames is the author of a number of important and internationally influential works in the field of Chinese ideological history and theorist, who established a new paradigm for reading this discourse with his researches. Visiting Professor Ames lecture will take place on Monday, 23rd March 2015 at 5 pm in the Assembly Hall of the main building of the University of Ljubljana.

The lecture, where central cues from his last book will be presented, that changed the traditional Sinology views on the understanding of Chinese, especially Confucian philosophy, will be in English.

These rare opportunity for direct meeting and discussion with the world known theorist is not to be missed. Also those that are interested in what the traditional East Asian mentality offers modern humans, should not miss this lecture.
