The second travelogue lecture organized by the Confucius Institute in Ljubljana was held on Tuesday, December 11th 2012.
This time our speaker was Tjaša Ornik, a student of the Faculty of Social Sciences, who also attended this years summer school in Shanghai, “Shanghai Summer School 2012”. Tjaša is one of the few Slovenian students who had the opportunity to work in China’s “start-up” company.
She presented to us her entire journey through China from beginning to end.
We were very interested in her work experience in Chinese start-up company. Tjaša worked in the company Snoworange and Network Technology Co.. Ltd.. in the marketing department. She shared with us some tips on how to work with Chinese people, what you should not do and what is their business culture. We also saw a few examples of bad practice, what are the advantages of working in a start-up company and why it is good to try your luck in China. A few photos from the event can be viewed in the gallery.
The next lecture will be held in January. You are cordially invited!
