Week of culture in Novo mesto
On Saturday June 22nd, the team of Confucius Institute went to Novo mesto, where the Cultural Centre Janeza Trdine held a Culture week. All minorities of Novo Mesto were presented. Also, we set up a stand and presented Chinese calligraphy, Chinese knots, summer school in Novo mesto for children etc..
The event was held on the lawn in front of the Cultural Centre, and every minority was presented in a different ways. We tried delicious Serbian dishes, listen to Slovenian folk songs, and watched a performance of Albanian folk group, etc.. Our teacher Ding Zhonghui presented Taiji sword.
At the end of the event, we together with other participants watched a concert, where young talents from Novo mesto and the surrounding area were presented. We would like to thank for the invitation, we spent a beautiful afternoon in the company of interesting people.
