October at Confucius Institute Ljubljana
At Confucius Institute Ljubljana month October has been dedicated to Chinese movies. We organized two film festivals, one in Škofja Loka in collaboration with Cinema Sora, the other in Idrija in collaboration with Film theater Idrija. During the festival, participants were able to see the following movies: Wolf Totem, Coming Home, Blind Massage, Ash Is Purest White and The Grandmaster. Before the film screening, our guests could participate in Chinese calligraphy and Chinese tea ceremony workshop along with a concert of the traditional Chinese guzheng musical instrument in Škofja Loka and a book presentation by sinologist dr. Katja Kolšek about her recent book »Kjer se skriva tiger, išči prežečega zmaja« in Idrija. Numerous guests have joined the workshops and presentation with great interest.
