IMB Project: Solutions for the Digital Payments Transition

As part of their Marketing for Managers and Multivariate Analysis courses, the 32nd Generation of IMB students had the opportunity to present their ideas at NLB d.d. on how to address the challenge of transitioning from cash to digital payments.

From NLB Reconnects, which focuses on younger generations, to the nostalgic Toli & KaVarna, the bold “Break Up with Cash—It’s Over!” marketing campaign, the innovative approach of NLB Neva, and the evolution of customized packages for different age groups, each solution provided a unique perspective on encouraging the shift toward digital payments.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the NLB Team, especially to Hedvika Usenik, Member of the Management Board at NLB, for listening to our ideas, engaging in discussions, and actively participating with our students.

A special thanks also goes to our professors (Vesna Žabkar, Barbara Čater, Mateja Kos Koklič, and Denis Marinšek), for their invaluable support and guidance throughout this project.

With this experience, our students are well-prepared to take on new challenges!
