Faculty of Economics University of Ljubljana signed in Paris on Tuesday (19th of February) two agreements with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) which will enable the exchange of experts between two institutions and three- to six-moth visits of Slovenian students to the OECD headquarters.

The agreements signed by the dean of the Economics Faculty prof. dr. Dušan Mramor and OECD Secretary General Angel Gurria aim to help exchange the know-how and experience in research, analysis and the forming of economic policies, the Ljubljana faculty said. The visits to the OECD headquarters will be enabled only to the best regular students of the Economics Faculty, who will work on prearranged assignments with their OECD mentors in Paris, the faculty said, adding that it saw the agreements as a recognition of its research and pedagogical work.
