Study Trip to Germany
In September 2018, IMB students of 25th generation had an opportunity to gain a first-hand experience of German companies. Within one week, IMB students visited Berlin, Potsdam, Herzogenaurach, Pforzheim, Neckarsulm, Stuttgart, and Bodensee. The German voyage consisted of company visits to Signavio GmbH, Adidas AG, Kolektor Conttek GmbH, LIDL Digital, and Mahle GmbH. Apart from having an opportunity to meet company’s representatives and attend lectures, students have visited the Hochscule Pforzheim campus, where they were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Dirk Wentzel, who held lecture on “How to do business in Germany”. Insights from all the lecturers about the German business environment served as source of additional information for the joint research project “Shaping the Future: Opportunites and Challenges of E-commerce globally and in Slovenia” that was presented at Poslovna Konferenca Portorož on 16 November 2018.
