The IMB programme among the best in the Financial Times ranking for the fifth year in a row
At the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, we are proud to announce yet another achievement, as our master’s programme “International Master in Business and Organisation (IMB)” is ranked 79th in the prestigious Financial Times ranking, which includes the best master’s programmes “Master in Management” in the world. With this, our IMB programme has been included in the ranking for the fifth year in a row.
The ranking is not only a sign of prestige but also enables IMB graduates greater recognition on the international labour market while also serving as a confirmation of the quality and reputation of the School of Economics and Business in the international business education community.
The Financial Times ranking is the most recognised ranking in the international business community, as it independently ranks the quality of the programme and excellent graduates who are very employable after graduation. The key elements influencing the ranking, in addition to the programme, teachers, contacts with the business community, and internationalisation, are, above all, the high level of employability of graduates and their salary after graduation and three years later.
In total, there are about 14,000 business schools in the world. Of these, programmes of only 100 are included in this Financial Times ranking. We are pleased that our partner universities and schools are also included in this prestigious ranking, and for the number years in a row, the University of St. Gallen, with which the School of Economics and Business has been successfully organising the GSERM Ljubljana doctoral school for many years, is ranked first.
Being included in the most prominent ranking in the world is a recognition for the School of Economics and Business, especially for the IMB team led by Prof. Polona Domadenik Muren, PhD, and is a confirmation of the quality and reputation of the school in the international business education community. In addition, it also promotes Slovenia and helps towards its better recognition.
