Hilti and Nike Visit – Future Opportunities for IMB Students
From power tools to sporty shoes, we had the great pleasure of welcoming and meeting representatives from Hilti and Nike to present to students internship and employment opportunities at respected companies and leaders in their industries.
Matej Pregarc and Mario Miličević shared some compelling information about Hilti, a privately owned company with 32,000 employees. Did you know that, on average, employees stay at Hilti for 17 years? What stood out most to the students was the globalization of the Hilti group and their focus on the work-life balance of their employees. Hilti is recognized as one of the best workplaces and ranks 8th among the World’s Best Workplaces in 2022.
Students got to know life at the Nike headquarters better from Nina Podpeskar, learning how they truly live by their motto of “Just do it”, with great respect to the flexibility of work and specialized positions in the departments. Of course, we had time for some fun and students were certainly intrigued by the information about having a Nike store on campus.
The 30th generation of IMB would like to thank the representatives for their visit and our Programme Director for this educational opportunity. We are thankful to have great representatives at respectable companies forming the IMB network and community.
