How to contribute to the community?
We had the honour of welcoming Rajshri Deshpande, an inspiring Indian actor and social worker, to our IMB premises. Rajshri shared her remarkable journey as a social entrepreneur, and how her passion for creating positive change in society has led her to create several successful initiatives.
One of the key messages that Rajshri emphasized was the importance of being a leader in our own communities. She challenged us to identify the issues that affect our local area and take action to solve them. She spoke passionately about the power of collective action and the need for us to work together to create a better future for all.
Rajshri also spoke candidly about the difficulties and challenges of being an activist, especially as a woman. She highlighted the mental and emotional toll that this work can take, but also emphasized the importance of resilience and self-care.
As an actor, Rajshri has played many roles that resonate with her values as an activist. She shared how she uses her platform to bring attention to important issues and to inspire others to take action.
It was an inspiring and thought-provoking session, and we are grateful to Rajshri for sharing her wisdom and insights with us.
