IMB guest lecture: Nada Simoneti
It was a great pleasure to host our IMB alumni Ms. Nada Simoneti, Strategy Director at Petrol in Slovenia, for a guest lecture at the Managerial Economics course, taught by prof. dr. Andreja Cirman and prof. dr. Matjaž Koman.
During the presentation, Ms. Simoneti provided us with a profound understanding of Petrol’s strategic initiatives, emphasizing their expansion into new markets. We learned about their ambitious plans to step into the energy sector beyond petroleum products, aiming to offer comprehensive energy solutions to both individual customers and businesses.
Furthermore, Ms. Simoneti shed light on Petrol’s remarkable diversification across various sectors. Their expansion into restaurants, shops and even the digital landscape through an online store demonstrates their versatility and adaptability in today’s dynamic market.
Guest lectures like these are crucial at IMB, as they bring theory to life, connecting study to practice. We are delighted when our successful alumni return to the IMB classroom and share their knowledge.
