Students of the International Full-time Master's Programme in Business Administration (IMB) successfully completed a project prepared for one of the largest and most successful retailing chains in South Eastern Europe and the leading retailing chain in Slovenia, the Mercator Group.

The aim of the project was to form a development strategy for some of Mercator’s trademarks in certain groups of brands as the process of managing the groups of brands and the development of own trademarks are the two of the key projects in the Mercator Group. Students presented the results and findings of the project to the upper management of the Mercator Group who evaluated the project as very successful as its findings add a great value to further work of the Mercator Group who will thus include them in their further directions. Cooperation among the business world and educational institution again proved to be successful and strengthened the ties with the Mercator Group which will continue its fruitful cooperation with the Faculty of Economics and support such programmes as the IMB is.
